About the breed

Labradoodles are a cross between the Poodle and the Labrador Retriever.

The Labradoodle is a popular and affectionate dog. Their friendly

and outgoing personality makes them a great companion dog. They are always ready for a cuddle or to join you on a walk. They love water, playing fetch, or just following you around the yard.

One of the Labradoodles attractions are their low shedding coat, making them a good choice for people with allergies. Their coat can be a variety of textures, including straight, curly or wavy. They also can be a range of colors.

They make good therapy dogs and are great with children. They can also be trained for hunting since both the poodle and labrador retriever were bred for hunting and retrieving.

Labradoodles do well with regular exercise or a large yard to run in. They are cold and heat tolerant, making them fairly hearty. They are a loving and versatile breed, and make wonderful family pets!

Labradoodle Generations Explained

F2 - A cross between two Labradoodle parents, still about 50/50. Coats can still vary but are more predictable.

F3 - Or Multigenerational

Third generation or higher of labradoodles.

Coats have very little shedding.
